OK, Affari Seri is for sale.. My baby, the bike I built for me, the one I was never going to sell because its perfect..

Well, Its perfect, its amazing, its unfair to ride. And Ima gonna go to jail if I keep it!  Power wheelies in 3rd and 4th all day, perfect suspension, chassis as happy on the track as the canyon or freeway, its dialed in. Wearing her new Silver chrome frame and swingarm, she is still as beautiful as the day I layed eyes on her.  Perfection. Fury, speed, aggression and refinement.

Therein lies the problem. Its D O N E. Nothing left to tweak, nothing left to fab or do. Wipe it down, ride it, put it away. Totally turn key, totally sorted. Perfect for YOU, like HELL for me. I live to tweak on the bike as much as I love to ride it. Equal parts of the puzzle really.

If you know the bike, you know the long list of rework and restyle to her, hundreds of man hours building the frame, reworking the swingarm, the subframe, Suspension redone by Ohlins USA, One off full Leo Vince Exhaust system. Hell, everything on this bike is one off, it was the first custom Streetfighter, and was the first Streetfighter in the US.

Stock bike is $19k, upgrades to this one total over 20k, then there is the labor. Make a reasonable offer, and ride her away.

My photography skillz suck, but I’m told I’m fair with the design and fabrication end of things…

Seducenta is our bike built for Leo Vince to celebrate 56 years of hand fabricating the best exhaust systems you can buy, hands down. Fifty Six years…  Hand fabrication, old world craftsmanship. Naturally, this bike had to represent both old and new. Starting with a 2010 Ducati Streetfighter, we turned her into a Cafe Racer/Superbike.  Think no compromise Cafe, but with real suspension, unreal brakes, and over 150hp at the rear tire.

I will keep the details to what is above, as the bike is being shot for a magazine over the next couple of weeks, but suffice to say its crazy fun, and has taken us into some new areas of fabrication and design. I don’t think we have yet seen a Cafe Racer with more emphasis on Racer than Cafe, with more substance than hyperbole, and this is it.

What a long, glorious weekend and ride to and from Laguna for the MotoGP. Special thanks to all that helped make it happen, and make it so much fun!

 Each and every year, I try to push the envelope and see just HOW hard we can push ourselves to get a bike built and ready for Laguna, and this year was no different. Three bikes in three weeks. One was minor, one was fairly major, and one was a complete build!

 Leo Vince, our long time sponsor, was kind enough to offer to host some of our bikes at their booth on vendor row, and they also asked us to make a bike to commemorate their 56^th year in business. This bike really pushed us, and helped us push our limits and skills as fabricators, and craftsmen. Hand formed aluminum tank and tail section, Ceramic bronze frame, hand burnished swingarm, and some of the best bits from Attack Performance, MotoWheels, CRG, Renthal, and of course, Leo Vince. Look for this bike in the Magazines very soon.

 Affari Seri, Italian for “Serious Business” if my bike, like mine personally, like the one I ride like an idiot every weekend that I think my license can take it. She was originally done in gloss black. Well subtle, very sinister; too subtle, as most people looked at her and thought she was pretty much stock, and the truth is that she is FAR from it. The black comes off like a prom dress, and a Bonded Chrome goes on. Much, much harder to keep clean. Much brighter, and really highlights the work and hours into the bike. Tragic that I cant ride this damn thing on two wheels.. Ever.

18 hours days, 14 days in a row. So much Rockstar, I think we would each bleed it were we cut. Hand hammering aluminum and metal finishing parts is fun to start, exciting to progress, and tedious to finish. Decisions, routing, endless painstaking details that no one will ever notice, but I know they are there.

Today marks day 15, full throttle. 7 work days left, plus one day at the Mikuni Calendar show in Long Beach. One bike is 80% finished; one is completely blown apart, with everything at outside process. The hundreds upon hundreds of man hours invested into a bike like this pays off, but mid way through, it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Push a bit harder, we never fail, never miss a deadline, never quit
